 Apprenticeship Funding

We’re the experts, so you don’t have to be.

Apprenticeships are funded by the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) through approved training providers. Bespoke trainers are a recognised provider of apprenticeships with a subcontracting partnership with prevista who hold a direct contract with the ESFA. We can support employers both large and small with accessing apprenticeship funding.

On 1 May 2017, the funding for apprenticeships was changed. ESFA introduced a co funding model with employers contributing to apprenticeships based on their size.

Levy Employers are those with an annual wage bill of more than £3 million. Levy paying employers access their apprenticeship funding via their online Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account. We work with many levy employers assisting them with setting up and accessing their accounts, analysing, and planning for workforce training needs, recruiting, and monitoring apprentices, monitoring levy spend.

Over 98% of employers are non-levy employers as they have a wage bill of £3 million pounds or less. The government fund 95% of the cost of the apprenticeship, with the employer contributing the remaining 5%.

Our experienced business development manager can provide a dedicated and bespoke advice service to all employers. You will have a dedicated advisor to support you to access funding and set up any training needs.

If you would like to read more from the government on the matter you can visit the Education Skills Funding Agency website for more information.

Apprentice Feedback

Lisa is a fantastic tutor, who has been very supportive. I found it difficult with working and covid but Lisa would always listen and provide reassurance which has helped me. She is professional and approachable.

Sheila has been a great assessor who has been supportive, Sheila reassured me that I could achieve my functional skills as I was so worried I couldn’t do this and supported me to achieve this, which I am so proud that I achieved them. I have learnt a lot from doing my level 2 and am looking forward to starting my level 3.
